2.2 The Moon

The Moon is the only Earth's satellite. Its surface is full of craters, caused by the impat of huge numbers of meteorites. The Moon causes eclipses and tides

The movement of rotation of the Moon takes 28 days and the movement of revolution takes 28 days too. This do that we allways see the same side of the Moon and we cannot see the dark side of th Moon.

The Moon has four main phases: new Moon, first quarter, full Moon and last quarter.
